Wabasha Narcan Vending Machine

Recovery Is Happening, in partnership with Wabasha County Public Health, have installad a new Narcan (naloxone) vending machine at the Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, located at 611 Broadway in Wabasha.
The machine, positioned outside of Door 5, is now operational and provides free, anonymous access to Narcan, a medication proven to reverse opioid overdoses and save lives.
The Narcan vending machine expands low-barrier access to overdose prevention tools in Wabasha County.
The Wabasha County Herald repoerts the unit is fully weatherproofed and designed to operate reliably in Minnesota’s extreme temperatures, ensuring year-round access regardless of seasonal conditions.
Recovery Is Happening is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization providing peer-led recovery support, harm reduction services, and community partnerships that promote health, safety, and long-term recovery for individuals and families impacted by substance use.
