Wabasha Farmers Market Veggie Rx

Thanks to a generous donation from the WK Foundation the Wabasha Farmers Market will once again have a Veggie Rx program.

They are excited to start recruiting participants.

Veggie Rx will be offered this season to the first 20 respondents that register, currently have children in their home under the age of 12, and are agreeable to pick up the Veggie Rx box of produce each Wednesday between 3-6 pm at the Wabasha Farmers Market now through September 17th.

Veggie Rx will provide fresh local produce and education to support the consumption of fruits and vegetables.

Each week the participants will receive a predetermined box of produce with a value of $25.00 at no cost.

They are expecting the enrollment to fill quickly, so if you are interested please contact them as soon possible.
