The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office is warning people another round of scam phone calls seems to be starting.
The caller will identify themselves as someone from the church and ask you to buy apple cards or gift card and give them the numbers.
The Sheriff’’s Office reminds you to never send money via gift cards. Criminals ask you to give them gift cards because once they have the number you cannot get the money back.
