Working in collaboration, the Wabasha Public Library and the Wabasha County Historical Society Museum will be hosting ‘The Spheres of Women,’ a historical reenactment program highlighting the contributions and experiences of women during the American Civil War this week.
Presented by living historians Heather Loeschke and Marie McNamara, this engaging program explores the diverse roles women held on the battlefield and at home, and how their lives were forever changed by the war.
The Plainview News reports there are two opportunities to attend this free program: at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Wabasha Public Library, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Wabasha County Historical Society Museum in Reads Landing.
