
Wabasha County Commissioners on April 16 approved the appointment of Michael Harvey, also a member of the County Planning Commission, to the County Board of Adjustment.

Ordinance states that the Board of Adjustment shall consist of five members appointed by the County Board.

The Plainview News reports a vacancy existed due to a recent resignation and each Commissioner can recommend an individual of their choice to be appointed to the Board of Adjustment.Â

A new member shall be appointed for the remainder of the unexpired term of the predecessor in the event of a vacancy.Â

Harvey was superintendent of the Zumbrota-Mazeppa schools before serving on the Wabasha County commissions.
