Wabasha Co Historical Society Author

On Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m., the Wabasha County Historical Society Museum invites the public to an engaging and entertaining afternoon with Captain Lee Hendrix, author of Peep Light: Stories of a Mississippi River Boat Captain.

Hendrix’s book, Peep Light, blends river history with personal reflections and stories of the people who live and work aboard these vessels - stories of camaraderie, endurance, and the deep connection between humans and the mighty Mississippi.

According to the Plainview Newsm books will be available for purchase at the event, and Captain Hendrix will be signing copies following the presentation.

The event will be held at the Wabasha County Historical Society Museum, 70537 206th Ave. in Reads Landing, about four miles north of Wabasha on Highway 61.
