A large crowd gathered this past Sunday for the coronation of Wabasha County American Dairy Association Princess Alexis Eversman and the 2024 Dairy Ambassadors at VFW Post 1802 in Zumbro Falls.
The Plainview News reports Ambassadors include Abby Fick, Charli Yust, Lexi Yust, Amelia Young and Erica Wallerich.
Sophie Stelling gave a farewell speech in place of 2023 Princess Beth Holst, who was unable to attend. Sophie also was awarded a scholarship - and she crowned the new Princess.
Visitors enjoyed a dinner provided by Delila’s Cafe and Catering in Zumbro Falls.
Dairy Princess royalty will interact with the public throughout the coming year at stores and during parades and other events.
Alexis is a senior at Stewartville High School. Amelia and Charli are sophomores at PEM High School, Lexi is a junior at PEM, and Abby and Erica are sophomores at Lincoln High School in Lake City.
Wabasha County’s ‘Breakfast on the Farm’ is scheduled for 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13 on Jeff and Ruth Lee’s farm near Oak Center.
