W-K PTO Golf Fundraiser

The Wabasha-Kellogg Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) more than doubled last year's total from their recent second annual Fore the Falcons Golf Tournament.

With massive community support, the tournament raised $17,802, which will all go towards the W-K Playground upgrades.

PTO organizers thanked the volunteers, sponsors, golfers, and community members for their support, which made the event possible.

They said additional information about the playground project and the use of the funds will be shared in the coming months.

The goal is to improve the playground experience for older elementary students at WK Elementary School. They are fundraising for new playground equipment, including structures resembling an obstacle course.

PTO is they are looking at an inclusive structure designed to support all students, including those with disabilities, which is not curently available.
