UWRF Provost Vice Chancellor

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls has named Amy Clark, Ph.D., Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

The Provost is the university’s chief academic officer and second-ranking official.

Clark will begin in the position July 1.

Clark most recently served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Nebraska Methodist College from 2018 to 2025, where she oversaw more than 240 faculty and staff across 25 departments.

During her time in the role, Clark was known for guiding initiatives that blended academic excellence with innovation, student success and institutional sustainability.

Clark replaces Wes Chapin, who has held the interim Provost position for the past two years and recently announced his decision to return to the faculty at the end of his interim appointment.

Using sarathi parivahan has made it much easier to book driving test appointments. Earlier, the process was very time-consuming, but now everything is streamlined. It’s a very useful platform for anyone applying for a license.
