UW-River Falls Wins 2024 DIII Women's Ice Hockey Championship

The UW-River Falls Women's Ice Hockey team became the 2024 NCAA Division III National Champions on Sunday, March 17th after a 4-1 win against Elmira at the Hunt Arena in River Falls under Head Coach Joe Cranston.


In addition to a national championship title, the Falcons also made DIII history by setting the record for the most wins in a season, reaching 30 wins after beating Adrian 3-2 in the semifinals. With a perfect 31-0 season, the Falcons are now the standard to beat in DIII Women's Ice Hockey.
