The first in-person Career Fair at UW-River Falls since February 2020 had more than 800 UWRF students attending during the two-day event in the University Center last week.
Some 80 unique employers were on hand each day and at least 55 companies had representatives who are UWRF alums.
One employer added that the UWRF Career Fair was the best attended he’d been to this recruiting season. Career Services noted some UW System school have reported a 50 percent drop in participation compared to pre-COVID times.
The spring UWRF career fair is set for February 16, 2022.
