Tire Explosion Death

The Wabasha County Sheriff's Office deputies and emergency responders were sent to rural Lake City Tuesday on a call.  

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 34-year old Joshua Moechnig Jr. was working on a tire when it exploded and caused his death.

Authorities report his father, Joshua Moechnig, Sr. was taken to Mayo Clinic-Saint Marys with injuries to his face.

No other information is being released about the incident at this time.
