A Wisconsin non-profit is holding their 3rd annual Suicide Awareness Walk fundraiser this weekend.
Deb Helgeson says Hope 4 U is a team of community members throughout Buffalo County who want to bring awareness of the impact suicide has on our community.
Helgeson says the event is Saturday, September 11 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Faith Lutheran Church in Durand. Helgeson says the walk is a great event for people who are struggling with mental health to attend and have good conversations with others who may be facing the same challenges.
Helgeson says the walk starts at noon but people can start showing up at 10 am with plenty of fun activities planned, including food, music, and a kids area. Helgeson says you don’t have to walk to attend and support the cause.
