The Timberwolves ended their three-game losing streak with a 107-102 win over the Nets in Brooklyn. The Wolves trailed by as many as 11 in the third quarter before rallying to tie the game at 100 with under 90 seconds left. From there, Karl-Anthony Towns hit a pair of free throws to put Minnesota up for good. Anthony Edwards poured in 23 points to lead Minnesota, while Towns finished with 22 points and 14 boards. The Wolves remain in ninth-place in the Western Conference at 40-and-40. Minnesota visits San Antonio on Saturday.

The Twins ran into the Sandy Alcantara-buzzsaw in a 1-0 loss to the Marlins in Miami. Alcantara held Twins hitters to just three hits in a complete game shutout. Kenta Maeda nearly matched him in his first start since having Tommy John surgery in 2021. Maeda struck out nine and gave up just one run in five-plus innings before he came off the field with a trainer. The Twins said that Maeda was just dealing with arm fatigue and shouldn't miss his next start. The Twins dropped to 4-and-1, and they send Pablo Lopez to the mound against his former Marlins squad today. In other team news, Minnesota pushed tomorrow's home opener back to Friday due to weather concerns.

The Wild are getting their superstar back just in time for the start of the postseason. Local anchor Mark Rosen reported yesterday that Kirill Kaprizov is expected to play in the last three games of the regular season. Kaprizov has missed nearly a month while recovering from a lower body injury that he suffered against the Jets on March 8th. The 25-year-old has 39 goals and 35 assists in 65 games this year. Minnesota visits Pittsburgh tomorrow.

The Packers could send Aaron Rodgers out west if a deal with the Jets falls through. Craig Carton said on his Fox Sports show that, "Aaron Rodgers would absolutely want to play for this franchise... They do not have a quarterback right now. Maybe Trey Lance becomes a stud. We don't know." He says Rodgers is from the area and has hinted in the past about going back home. Meanwhile, NFL Insider Mike Florio said there was some "chatter" at the scouting combine about the 49ers potentially trading for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

The Bucks crushed the Wizards 140-128 in DC. Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied a triple-double on 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Jrue Holiday sunk 26 points of his own and dished out 10 assists for a double-double. Milwaukee leads the Celtics by three games for the top spot in the East and still has the best overall record in the league. The Bucks have three games left to play and will hit the hardwood again in Milwaukee tonight against the Bulls.

The Brewers extended their win streak following a 9-0 win over the Mets in Milwaukee. Rowdy Tellez, Brian Anderson and Garrett Mitchell hit back-to-back-to-back homers off Max Scherzer in the sixth inning. Anderson and Mitchell homered again the following inning to secure the win for Milwaukee. The Brewers have won four games in a row and improved to 4-and-1. The Brewers will try to sweep the series this afternoon when Corbin Burnes takes the mound. David Peterson gets the ball for New York.
