The City of Red Wings Solid Waste Campus will be accepting Christmas lights and old extension cords at no charge during the holiday season.
Starting Thursday, December 1, residents and businesses can drop off holiday lights and extension cords at the special drop-off location located in front of the office at the Solid Waste Campus at 1873 Bench St.
The drop-off site will continue through January 14, 2023. The end date coincides with the Holiday Greens Disposal (which will begin December 27).
