A snowmobile accident Saturday claimed the life of 62-year old Wade Duffing of Lake City/ Belvidere Township.
The Goodhue County sheriff's office reports Duffing hit his head after he fell off the snowmobile on his own property on County 45 Boulevard. Lifesaving measures were given but Duffing was pronounced dead at the scene.
Duffing was not wearing a helmet.
Also responding to the scene was the Goodhue Police Department, Zumbrota Police Department, Goodhue First Responders, Lake City Ambulance, and Mayo One.
