The 40th Annual River City Days, Red Wing’s premier summer event, is coming up this week, August 4th – 6th, and is jammed packed with a variety of fun events for the whole family.
The fabulous free entertainment at Bay Point Park kicks off Friday with The Key Notes old time music from 1 – 4 pm under the tent in the beer garden, which opens at noon. From 5 – 7 pm it’s the Karaoke Finals by Bluff Country KCUE & Red Wing Chevrolet & your selected Heartland Chevy Dealers.
There will be bingo and food vendors and from 8 – 11 pm the Arch Allies will rock the beer garden.
Saturday highlights include Saturday’s River City Ramble 5k Run/Walk, Car Show, Disc Golf Tournament, Arts and Craft’s Fair, Beer Garden, Taste of Red Wing, food vendors, and fireworks at dusk.
Sunday features 46th Fly in/drive in Pancake Breakfast at the Red Wing Airport from 8 am – noon, River City Days Parade at 1 pm, Red Wing Royal Ambassador Pageant at 6:15 pm followed by their coronation at the Sheldon Theatre and the reception at the Red Wing Elk’s Lodge.
