Retail and Restaurant Challenge 2025

Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet is back again with their Retail & Restaurant Challenge and this time they have quadrupled the grant money, $100,000.

D.T.M.and partners are offering incentive package(s) for several winning businesses opening or doing a significant expansion in Red Wing’s historic downtown or West End District by September, 2025. 

Details and applications are now open at https://www.downtownredwing.org/, just look under the Programs tab.

Applications are due by midnight, Sunday, June 15th.

The programs goal is to fill vacancies and support local business, with the top priority finding 1 to 2 new restaurants to open up downtown.

This Challenge will fund at least two businesses.

The winners will be announced on July 25th.

Funding is provided by: Jones Family Foundation, Red Wing Area Fund, Wings Foundation and Albrecht-Poss Family Foundation.
