Red Wing YMCA Gym Renovations

The Red Wing Family YMCA gym will be closed starting today for major renovations.

Gym A/B will be closed and thanks to their partners at Prairie Island Indian Community, Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Timberwolves, it’s getting a refresh.

Work includes sanding and refinishing the gym floor with new games lines, wall pad and scoreboard replacement, paint existing block walls and track wall, new equipment and $10,000 for scholarships.

Walking track will be open during most of the project but please remember that there will be paint and flooring work being done so those sensitive to dust and smell may want to avoid the area.

The project is expected to be completed by October.
