Red Wing Temporary Dog Park Open

The City of Red Wing has reopened the temporary dog park at the Athletic Field ice rinks on 12th Street for spring/summer 2025.

As long-term dog park planning continues, the temporary location provides two fenced-in spaces (one for large breeds and one for small breeds) to run free.

The former dog park at A.P. Anderson Park was closed in November, 2023 after it was learned that an indigenous cemetery is located on eastern portions of the park.
