Red Wing School Board members wished Superintendent Karsten Anderson well as they accepted his resignation during a special meeting Tuesday, May 31.
After serving the district for 11 years, Anderson has accepted the superintendent position with St. Francis Area Schools.
The board then discussed options and voted to hire an interim superintendent for the 2022-2023 school year. Applications are due June 9.
A series of special meetings will follow.
