The Red Wing School Board certified the district’s preliminary levy on Monday, Sept. 19, as required by state law.
The certification includes the General Fund, Debt Redemption Fund and Community Education & Recreation.
The board will finalize the levy after Truth-in-Taxation hearings in December.
During their workshop, board members discussed several items, including:
· Referendum planning and presentations,
· Program directors & supervisors contract,
· Organizational structure of the district.

The board will next meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in the Red Wing High School J-pod.
