Red Wing Restaurant Challenge

Red Wing Downtown Main Street and partners are offering incentive package(s) for one restaurant business opening or doing a significant expansion in Red Wing’s historic downtown in 2026.

Executive Director, Andrea Hanson, says they have $40,000 in cash to give away. She says a background in running a restaurant is a plus.  

Hanson says The Judge Panel will comprise a mix of business owners, representative(s) from Downtown Philanthropic Collaborative, economic development partners, and Red Wing Downtown Main Street Board.

Downtown Locations include

• Former Boxrud - 413 421 Main Street

• Former Trading Post - 312 Bush Street

• Former Otto’s Public House - 217 Plum Street

• Formerly Cut Above Home - 320 W 3rd Street

The Short Form Business Concept Due by Sunday, November 30^th. The announcement of the winner will be January 12^th.
