Red Wing Public Schools Last Day School

Red Wing Public School Board members approved changing the 2024-2025 calendar at their March 24 meeting.

The last school day for students now will be Thursday, May 29.

The school calendar originally included a half-day on Friday, May 30. This was to ensure that the district could meet the required number of instructional days in the event hazardous winter weather prompted numerous closures.

Due to the mild winter, the half-day is unnecessary.

The board took similar action last year.
