Red Wing Property Tax Levy

Homeowners in Red Wing will see the city-related portion of their property tax amount remain relatively flat in 2026.
City Council members voted in a 5-2 majority last week to a 3.2% increase in the overall levy amount from 2025, but Red Wing Mayor, Gary Iocco, says for the average homeowner, it won't be much change.
An average-value home will have a roughly $1 increase.Â
Quick reminder: The budget is the City's entire financial plan for the year, including all revenues and expenditures.
The levy is the portion of the budget raised specifically through city property taxes.
