Red Wing Police Late Night Thursdays

Something from Red Wing’s past is making a big comeback this week.

Thursday night shopping downtown kicks off Thursday from 4-7 pm for the rest of the year.

Red Wing Police Department Assistant Chief, Brian Metling, says the City will be getting in on the fun on Thursday nights when stores will be offering discounts and special deals. You can even catch a movie at the Sheldon Theatre.

Metling says tomorrow it’s a Touch a Truck event on West Third Street between the Sheldon Theatre and the Library from 4-7 pm and you can meet officers, check out their police vehicles, and enjoy a frozen treat.

He says this summer other City departments will be showcased.
