Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet has been busy with a project designed to create and advance their new Accessibility, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Plan.
Programs Coordinator, Kim Lampe, says they have been gathering information and stories about the history of downtown Red Wing to help expand economic development.
Lampe says from July through September they will meet with economic partners and look through the information gathered.
Funding for the project is provided by Blandin Foundation and Rethos/MN Main Street. Engaged partners include Honoring Dakota Project, Prairie Island Indian Community, Goodhue County Historical Society, and Red Wing Arts.
