Red Wing Ace Hardware Retirement

Red Wing Ace Hardware’s owners, Troy and Lisa Daniels, have announced they are retiring and they already know who they will be handing over the keys too.

Their announcement says at the end of September, Casey and Kayla Waltz, owners of the Waltz Ace Hardware in Ellsworth, will take over.

The Daniels post mentions they have been working on a retirement plan for several years, including a search for owners that would be a fit for their customers and community.

They are excited that another local family with a successful hardware business of their own will build on the legacy their family started 41 years ago.Earl and Carol Hubred, Lisa’s parents, opened Coast-to-Coast Hardware store in downtown Red Wing in 1985.

Troy and Lisa worked with them for many years before taking over the business from them in 2004.

The transition date is September 29th.

The Waltz’s have family ties to Red Wing. Kayla was born and raised here and Casey is from Ellsworth. They are excited to serve the Red Wing and surrounding area soon.
