R.W. Fire Department Applications

The Red Wing Fire Department is now accepting applications for Paid-On-Call Firefighters.

If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve your community, gain valuable emergency response training, and be part of a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must live within a 20-minute response time of Station 1

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED

• Must hold a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence

• 
  

No prior experience is required. Selected applicants will receive department-sponsored training and education to obtain Minnesota state certifications, including:

• Firefighter Certification

• Hazardous Materials Certification

• Emergency Medical First Responder Certification
