Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services (PPCS) will be celebrating all things electric on Saturday, September 25, when it holds an inaugural event called “Powered by Electricity” at its headquarters located at the corner of US Highways 10 and 63 in Ellsworth.
PPCS celebrates National Cooperative Month in October, National Drive EV Week the last week of September, and usually hosts a Member Appreciation event this time of year.
They are combining all these into one great event for PPCS members and the community.
During the Powered by Electricity event, community members will have a chance to see electric vehicles, battery powered tools, electric golf carts, an electric bike, and many other items that use electricity. An all-electric bus will also be showcased.
The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will include food trucks and activities for kids.
