Planning Commission Public Hearing

The Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers to consider a comprehensive plan text amendment, amendments to the future land use map in the comprehensive plan, and three city-initiated rezonings.

The potential rezoning sites include:

• Former Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1412 West Fourth St.

• Former Jefferson School, 601 Buchanan St.

• Outlots B and F, Siewerts Briarwood subdivision

• 
  

The purpose of the hearing is to consider whether three properties should be guided and zoned to allow future housing opportunities, including multifamily housing.

No specific development proposal is under consideration at this time.

Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the hearing. A Webex participation link may be requested from the City.
