Plainview Public Library Book Talk
Plainview’s Public Library will offer a new monthly gathering, ‘Book Talk,’ for book lovers this fall.
Outreach director Meg Curtiss will spend 15 minutes introducing five of her latest reads.
According to the Plainview News, the remaining time will be an open conversation about books that attendees are reading.
Come to listen or share your own ‘hits and misses.’
Book Talk is scheduled for noon to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesdays including Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 9.
Participants can bring a sack lunch and eat while they chat.
I like this topic it's very informative, and it also highlights the value that book publishers Canada provide in helping authors share their stories with readers.
