Pier 55 Red Wing Area Seniors will once again holding a special event over Memorial Day weekend at Bay Point Park.
The Field of Honor Program is their 16th annual.
Flags will be on display, rain or shine from today (Friday) though Tuesday, May 30.
They ARE still taking flag dedications for this weekend's Field of Honor. Go to www.redwingareaseniors.org today to fill out the form. Or you can call or stop in to dedicate a flag in memory or honor of a veteran or all veterans, 651-327-2255, 240 Harrison Street.
Tonight, at 6 pm at Bay Point Park their ceremony starts with a welcome and Master of Ceremonies and it includes Posting of the Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, Posting of the Field of Honor, Firing Squad Salut and Taps.
