PEM PreK-3 Reading Program

PEM PreK-3 Principal Jon Wright discussed a timeline, curriculum considered, and recommendations for K-8 reading curriculum during the PEM School Board meeting last month.

The Plainview News reports Wright said recommendations include the ‘Superkids’ reading program for kindergarten, HMH Into eading for students in grades 1-5, and HMH Into Literature for those in grades 6-8.

Wright also provided an update on the planned new all-inclusive playground at the PreK-3 building.

High School Principal Mike Walton shared end-of-the-school year dates, MCA and ACT schedules, and staff  development.
