PEM’s School Board on June 8 approved a professional services agreement with Minneapolis-based SiteLogIQ, an engineering, construction, and program management firm specializing in facility infrastructure modernization and energy efficiency, for indoor air quality (mold remediation) work at the PEM PreK-3 building in Plainview.
Lori Volz, director of Baker Tilly, a Minneapolis-based global advisory, tax, and assurance firm, discussed the School District’s next steps for financing the project, including incorporating a bond and a 10-year revenue plan.
The Plainview News reports the School Board’s Finance Committee will meet in September to approve a $7.8 million bond repayment plan in regard to the indoor air quality project.
Volz said bonds will be sold in January 2027.
