The community is invited to join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at their Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Saturday at Colvill Park in Red Wing.
Registration starts at 8 am, the program starts at 9 am.
Red Wing Suicide Prevention co-chair Emmy Husfloen, says event help spread awareness and understanding, send the message that help is available and breaking the stigma of mental illness.
This year’s goal to raise is $20,000.
