As summer winds down, make sure your home is safe and ready for colder weather.
If your roof needs repair or your furnace won't kick on, but you can't afford to fix it, the new Red Wing Owner-Occupied Home Repair Relief Program has funds to help.
Through this program, income-qualified homeowners in Red Wing may be eligible for up to $20,000 per household for critical repairs.
That includes plumbing, roofing, accessibility modifications, and more.
The program is a partnership between Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity, the City of Red Wing, and the Red Wing Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
To apply for assistance, fill out a repair request form at https://www.gchabitat.org/home-revitalization, visit 614 Plum Street in person, or apply by phone at 651.327.2195.
