Spring is on the horizon for the Upper Mississippi River Valley and that means the return of the National Eagle Center’s annual SOAR With the Eagles festival in March.
On Saturday, March 21 guests can head to Wabasha to enjoy special flying bird programs, wildlife exhibits, and kids activities.
SOAR with the Eagles is an annual festival that celebrates spring migration along the Mississippi River flyway and Bald Eagle nesting season.
This SOAR festival is particularly special as visitors will meet the Center’s newest Ambassador, an American Kestrel.
This year’s festival features the return of the fan-favorite Wings to Soar flying bird show, and will also host booths for several Minnesota-based wildlife organizations, including the Midwest Peregrine Society with Jackie Fallon and her live falcons, the International Wolf Center and the new National Loon Center.
Festival admission is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors (65+), and $10 for children (ages 5-15). National Eagle Center members, children ages 4 & under, and US veterans under enjoy FREE admission.
