MSC Southeast Outstanding Alumni Awards

Every year since 2005, Minnesota State College Southeast has honored one graduate from each campus — Red Wing and Winona — with the Outstanding Alumni Award, presented in recognition of outstanding personal and professional achievement and service to others.

At its Commencement Ceremony on May 13, the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Award for the Red Wing Campus went to Margaret Lampman, who earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice at Southeast in 2013.

Margaret has been employed at Gemini, Inc. in Cannon Falls since 2014. In her current position as Training and Development Manager, she designs and develop training programs in alignment with Gemini's organizational objectives and business strategy.

Lampman serves her community in many ways, and currently volunteers for Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity, serves as a District Advisory Committee Member for Red Wing Public Schools Parent Advisory Council, and is the Communications Director for the Hiawatha Valley SHRM Board of Directors.

The 2024 Outstanding Alumni Award for the Winona Campus was presented to Maureen Holte, who earned a diploma in Accounting in 1989.

Maureen now serves as Winona County Administrator, where she oversees 250 employees and is responsible for an annual budget of $70 million.
