The contest sponsored by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce that picks the public’s brain for which state-made innovation is the “coolest.” is back and voting is now open.

This bracket-style competition will narrow down the most innovative and impactful products made in Minnesota until just one is standing.

Officials say the competition was started to highlight Minnesota’s many inventions that are used around the world.

Nominations are open now until August 15th at https://www.mnchamber.com/ with the first bracket to be announced on September 2nd.

Public voting will occur between September 2nd and October 5th with the winner announced on October 7th at the 2025 Manufacturer’s Summit.

Any product manufactured in Minnesota is eligible for nomination and companies are not required to be members of the Minnesota Chamber.

Last years winner was 3M’s Scotch Magic Tape.

The other Final Four finalists included Red Wing Shoes' Beckman Boot, Action Trackchair in Marshall and Midwest Floating Island’s Innovative National Aquarium Wetland in St. Paul.
