It’s official.
The “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” is 3M’s Scotch Magic Tape.
The contest sponsored by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce picked the public’s brain for which state-made innovation is the “coolest.”
The other Final Four finalists that included Red Wing Shoes' Beckman Boot, Action Trackchair, and Midwest Floating Island’s Innovative National Aquarium Wetland.
Officials say the competition was started to highlight Minnesota’s many inventions that are used around the world.
The winner was announced on Tuesday at the 2024 Manufacturers’ Summit.
