Merchants Bank 10 Days of Giving

Merchants Bank in Red Wing is partnering with the local Red Wing Area Food Shelf to help those in need during its first annual 10 Days of Giving drive, December 1-10.

In addition to partnering with local schools, the Bank is collecting donations at the branch location in Red Wing.

The drive’s first year in Red Wing carries special meaning as Merchants Bank is also celebrating 150 years of service.

Community members can contribute monetary and food donations, with an emphasis on health food donations by the Red Wing Area Food Shelf.

For tracking purposes, each dollar donated is counted as two pounds of food.

The 10 Days of Giving drive is a new annual community collaboration between Merchants Bank in Red Wing and the Red Wing Area Food Shelf to make sure no one in the community goes without each winter.

In addition to the Red Wing drive, other Merchants Bank locations partner with their respective local food shelf in a similar effort.

Other locations include Hastings. Cottage Grove, Rochester and Winona.
