Merchants 10 Days of Giving Results

Merchants Bank’s 10 Days of Giving drive, which ran from December 1-10, was a success.

The drive, which has been going on since 1989 in certain communities, is a brand new annual community collaboration between Merchants Bank in Red Wing and the Red Wing Area Food Shelf to make sure no one in the community goes without each winter.

2025 was the Red Wing branch's first year participating and they collected 172 pounds of food.

Rochester collected $449.34, which provides about 1,549 meals to those in need by benefiting the Channel One Regional Food Bank.

Hastings' drive benefits Hastings Family Service and collected 4,122 pounds of food and $13,475 in cash.

Winona, where the 10 Days of Giving started, collected 27,918 pounds of food and $133,470.71 to Winona Volunteer Services.
