Mayor for a Day Contest Winner

Congratulations to Kylie Dahl, a student at Twin Bluff Middle School who won the Red Wing Mayor for a Day contest.

Kylie's essay gave Mayor Gary Iocco all kinds of great ideas: repairing homes for special needs children, preventing downtown flooding, more musical theater, a better swimming pool, and more funding to make sure every neighborhood is a safe place to live.

Kylie says Red Wing may not be where she was born, but it feels like her hometown.

Kylie will get to ride in a police car and fire truck, tour the public safety facilities, and sit in the Mayor's chair with her name on the nameplate.
