Amateur Baseball:

Red Wing Aces 3 Rochester Royals 2-Reid Hartmann's RBI single in the bottom of eighth inning proved to be the game winner for the Aces. Hartmann had three hits on the night. "The Big Unit" Aaron Johnson went the first seven innings on the mound for the Aces and racked up 13 strike outs. Cooper Chandler pitched the last two innings to pick up the win in relief.

The Aces are 6-6 and host the Mac Strength Grizzlies Wednesday at 7:30pm.

Boys & Girls State Golf:

Class A at Pebble Creek in Becker has Tommy Lineweaver of Wabasha-Kellogg competing on the boys side.

Class AA at The Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan has Braxton Berlin of Lake City and Collin Fogarty of PIZM competing individually.

On the girls side the Lake City team competes which includes Alayna Atkinson, Jordyn Dicke, Julia Huettl, Marlena Brunkow, Taylor Davidson and Mattie Mears. Individually it's Hallie Johnson of Red Wing (the Section 1AA champ) and Olivia Cordes of PIZM in the field as well.

Boys 200 meter prelims: Cody Walker of Wabasha-Kellogg

Girls 4x400 meter relay: Lake City

Wednesday:

Boys & Girls State Golf: Second and final round

Boys & Girls State Track & Field: Class A finals and Class AA (Red Wing) finals in the 3200 meter run with all other events prelims with AA finals in the other events Thursday.
