Tuesday Amateur Baseball:
Red Wing Aces 12 Rochester Roadrunners 3-The Aces won their fifth straight game by blasting the Roadrunners at The Athletic Field.
Red Wing scored in five straight innings, capped off by a five run seventh innning to cruise to the win.
Teddy Tauer led the Aces by going 4-5 with two singles, a double and triple and four RBI. Dixon Irwin added three RBI.
Ben Keuhni came on in relief in the fifth inning for starting pitcher Spencer Schroeder and was lights out. Kuehni allowed just three hits, no runs and struck out 10 to earn his fifth win of the year.
Red Wing plays at the River Falls Fish tonight. The Aces also announed that Friday's game vs. Stockman's Irish has been cancelled as the Irish don't have enough players to play Friday night.
The Aces host the St. Paul Hops Sunday at 2pm and finish out the regular season Saturday, July 29th at 7:30pm as the host the Bay City Bombers in their fan appreciation night contest.
