Minnesota deer hunters can take part in a late-season chronic wasting disease (CWD) management hunt next Friday through Sunday.
The hunt covers several permit areas, including 605, 642, 643, 645, 646, 647, 648, and 649.
C-W-D testing is voluntary this year, but carcass movement restrictions remain in effect.
Hunters who want to bring meat out of the zone immediately must quarter their deer first.
Disease management permits can tag both bucks and antlerless deer, and the bag limit is five.
Details on licenses, voluntary testing, and carcass rules are available at mndnr.gov/cwd.
