The Lake City Kiwanis Christmas Project is underway for this holiday season.
Jim Menting, Coordinator of the Lake City Kiwanis Club’s Christmas projects says last year they provided toys, games, books, school supplies and clothing to 52 families with 120 children who live in the Lake City school district.
Menting says unrapped toys can be delivered by December 12th to collection boxes at the following sites in Lake City: VFW, Lake City Fresh Market, Edward Jones Offices, Alliance Bank, Swan Jewelers, Anytime Fitness, and Lake City Federal Bank.
Menting says each child will get more than 1 gift.
Unwrapped toys should be dropped off at the collection sites by Monday, December 12th.
The distribution date will be December 17th.
