Lake City City Council Vacancy
The City of Lake City is accepting applications from qualified residents interested in serving on the City Council.
This appointment will fill a vacancy on the Council for the remainder of the current term, ending January 2029.
Applicants must be eligible to hold municipal office under Minnesota law and must be residents of the City of Lake City for at least 30 days prior to appointment.
The City Council will review all submitted applications and may conduct interviews with selected candidates. Following the review process, the Council will appoint an individual to fill the vacant seat at a public City Council meeting.
Applications are available at City Hall, located at 205 West Center Street, or on the City's website at www.ci.lake-city.mn.us
Completed applications must be submitted no later than Monday, October 12th at 4:30 p.m. to: Michelle SeydelCity Clerk, City of Lake City, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, MN 55041.
