Kelly’s Tap House Fire

The Red Wing Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at Kelly’s Tap House Bar and Grill in the 1500 block of Old West Main Street Tuesday at 10:16 pm.

Fire department personnel arrived on scene within four minutes of receiving the call, finding the fire had been extinguished.

The department extends special thanks to the quick-thinking staff of Bayside Saloon and Grill, whose fast action extinguished the fire prior to the arrival of the Fire Departments crews. Without their intervention, the incident could have escalated significantly.

Crews remained on scene for approximately 45 minutes to ensure the fire was fully extinguished, complete overhaul, and investigate.

The building sustained no significant damage.
